You don’t have a “motivation” problem when it comes to fitness.
You have a “responsive desire” problem.
(The “responsive desire” is NOT the problem. The fact that you don’t know about it is. 😁)
In other words, you’re sitting around waiting for a desire to exercise to hit you like a lightning bolt out of the clear blue sky. ⚡
To be fair: that’s how we’re taught “motivation” works. And that we should be ready at a moment’s notice to pounce on it should that fickle friend ever arrive… calendars, responsibilities, and sleep be damned! (And you can forget about hair washing schedules!)
If it were a “motivation” problem, then that excitement you feel on Day 1 of your new workout program would still pump you up on Day 3, 15, and 30.
The real problem is that you have a “responsive desire” for exercise, and you just don’t know it–or know what that means!
I will show you how to work with your “responsive desire” for exercise, and never wait around for “motivation” to show its fair-weather face again:
1️⃣Follow the “Stop Hating Fitness Framework” to uncover exactly what is tripping you up when it comes to moving your body and feeling good about what you’re doing.
2️⃣Stay on course with the “Body Confidence Compass” for feeling good in your “right now” body without spending hours in the gym every week.
3️⃣Fill in your “Movement Motivation Map” so you can learn the difference between *being gentle with yourself* and *WHOOPS-I’m-Avoiding-The-Thing-Again* so you can skip workouts on purpose, and feel great about it.
This is the work I do with my 1:1 Intuitive Fitness Coaching clients, and it’s the reason my clients are able to find fitness that fits for them–and gets them unstuck and feeling great about movement, even after just one session!
DM me “MOTIVATION” for details.
