Intuitive Fitness is THIS and THAT

text about rejecting toxic fitness culture and oppression

It can feel selfish to focus on taking care of yourself & investing in coaching or personal training in order to heal and repair your relationship with your body, food, and fitness.

It’s not.

What is micro is macro.

As adrienne maree brown puts it,
“Small is good, small is all. (The large is a reflection of the small.)”

You aren’t just you.

You are part of the larger whole.

The whole is merely a reflection of all of us; individual “you”s.

If you work on you, you also work on the whole.

emergent strategy is a “strategy for building complex patterns and systems of change through relatively small interactions.”

You can work on yourself AND the system at the same time.

In fact, maybe that’s the only way to sustainably do the work of either?

Take care of yourself. Take care of the world. They’re not mutually exclusive.
