I’m almost never just going about my day, when a bolt of workout inspiration hits me, and I have to jump up and start doing squats!⁠

Rather, what’s more likely to happen is I convince myself to just start moving with an explicit promise to myself that I can stop after 30 seconds if I don’t like it. (This is Intuitive Movement Principle 10: Gentle Fitness, btw. Just like xesual activity, it’s all about consent, babyyy).⁠
