Instead of buying a new planner & spending an entire Sunday filling it with your “dream schedule” of all the workouts you’re going to do, meals you’re going to prep, and dates you’re going to keep… ⁠

When you’re currently doing exactly zero of those things…⁠

Think realistically about what is ONE step more than what you’re currently doing, and then DO THAT THING. ⁠

Don’t PLAN on waking up early to go for a run in the morning (when you’ve literally never done that in your life). ⁠

Take a 5 minute walk right now. ⁠

You can get a dopamine hit by making beautifully laid out plans & living in that fantasy, or…⁠

You can get a dopamine hit by doing a tiny, imperfect fraction of your plan, and living in reality.⁠
