Got pain?😓

Treating Symptoms vs Causes

Let’s solve the REAL problem…

the way we are taught to think about motivation, energy, exercise, fitness, diet, & body image is all wrong.

None of ^^^those things stand alone.

They are not separate.

You can’t meaningfully address any of these on their own.

They’re each part of an interdependent biosystem.

We’re taught to address them chopped off from everything else.

When I had plantar fasciitis* in my foot, my Massage & Physical Therapists treated my…

Leg! (And also my foot a little bit.)

But the majority of the treatment was strengthening, stretching, & trigger point massaging my calf–specifically, right behind my knee–for pain that was happening on the bottom of my foot.

If you tell Google (or a friend/family member/internet rando) that you have foot pain, they’ll tell you about a foot massage or gel insoles.

But that probably won’t solve your problem.

If you tell an expert about your foot pain, they’ll know to go up the myofascial chain and treat the cause.

That’s how Intuitive Fitness Coaching works.

Lack of motivation, not enough energy to exercise after work, disliking salads, not liking what you see in the mirror…

These are the plantar fasciitis.

You can get a foot massage, aka drink a Red Bull to give you energy.

And that will last… a couple of hours. (Plus the after effects.)

Or you can get professional experts to diagnose** & treat you, (plus educate you on how to prevent it from returning in the future)aka liberate yourself from Toxic Fitness Culture so you can Reframe, Reconnect, & Reclaim your health & fitness.

And that will last a lifetime.

*I haven’t had plantar fasciitis since that one time back in 2017, btw. And part of that is because neither of my providers were fatphobic, so they actually treated my problem, rather than blaming my weight. Size-inclusive care, FTW!

**I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on the InternetⓇ.
